Plain answers

The things people ask first.

What happens after the trial ends?

The app stops and asks to be paid for. Everything you entered is still in your sheet, and you can download all of it whether you pay or not.

Why type it in instead of connecting my bank?

No bank login means a few taps for each purchase, and that moment is when you notice it. Bank feeds need re-linking, can double up pending rows and guess categories, so you check your statement either way. To catch up, upload a statement or a screenshot and check the rows before they go in.

Why one payment, not a subscription?

Subscriptions pay for servers. Your data is in your own Google Drive, so there is nothing for us to keep and nothing to charge for each month. A$59 once: less than a year of most money apps, yours for good.

What if Tobsy disappears?

Your sheet is yours: every entry in it stays readable and downloadable with no Tobsy at all. The app itself does lean on two things we run, a small piece of code your copy talks to and the website the app loads from. If Tobsy shut down, we would publish both so existing copies keep working without us; the sheet is the part that survives anything.

What if I want a refund?

Ask within 14 days and we’ll refund it. No explaining, no arguing. Your sheet and your data stay yours.
